Burt is back at Mureille’s Place. He was just diagnosed with kidney disease and will spending the rest of whatever time he has left here with us.
Burt was adopted by a wonderful senior gentleman named Walter. After being here for about a year and a half, we were so happy to see Burt get a 2nd chance for a new life. Walter gave him a wonderful home for about 6 months before Burt got sick. He was so sad to see him go but was struggling with having to care for Burt now that he was sick so we welcomed Burt back with open arms. We are doing all we can to make Burt’s last days comfortable and have him on a special diet and fluids. He is spending most of the time sleeping. Please keep Burt in your prayers. We will keep you updated on his condition.
